Starlight Stadium is a state-of-the-art sporting facility located at City Centre Park in the heart of Langford. Recently expanded in 2019, the outdoor stadium is now the largest in the region, with a premium grade artificial turf field and seating for upwards of 6,000 spectators, including 18 VIP suites.
The Stadium is home to Canadian professional soccer club Pacific FC, as well as Rugby Canada and the Westshore Rebels (CJFL). Starlight Stadium has been the host of several international test matches through the Americas Rugby Championship and hosts the annual HSBC Canada Women’s Sevens. The Stadium is anticipated to be a hub for various international sporting events in the future.
The area around the pond features picnic tables, lamps with speakers and Wi-Fi portals, a 25 foot by 16 foot stage and one of two new concession stands. Other onsite amenities include a DJ booth, cocktail bar and public parking. The Sarah Beckett Memorial Playground, also built in 2019, is located adjacent to the stadium grounds.
Starlight Stadium is a bustling centre of activity on game days, with food trucks, craft breweries and family-friendly entertainment on site.
The stadium is available for both professional teams and community use. Please contact City Centre Park for availability.
Starlight Stadium, being a relatively newly-built structure, is well set up to accommodate folks using mobility devices. The stadium offers ADA accessible-seating, meaning seating and spaces that are designed to accommodate folks with disabilities, including those who use wheelchairs. Wheelchair spaces and movable-arm seats are available in sections 102, 106, 108, and 112. A person can maneuver their mobility device easily into one of these spaces and have room for a companion to sit next to them. There are washrooms (including accessible ones) on the main level located near the DJ booth. A further dedicated accessible washroom with a change table is located upstairs on the corporate suite level. To access the area, flag down an usher for assistance. They will take you out to the back of the stadium where there is a small elevator that will whisk you up to the top level. The accessible washroom is located close by upon exiting the elevator. Staff are very friendly and anxious to be of assistance.
