Akwaaba, we welcome you to House of Boateng Café, where bonding at the table is one of life’s oldest traditions. This is your place to be social, relax and fuel your appetite. A place where food can take you back to some of life’s fondest memories.
EAT Magazines Chef of the Year 2020, Chef Castro Boateng brings his raw talent, passion and natural creativity to the Westshore community, serving daily convenient feature items to full hot meals from our friendly counter staff. Our service style and our menus have been tailored thoughtfully with House of Boateng’s core values in mind; Simply Fresh Ingredients, Delightfully Personal Service and Seriously Good Food. House of Boateng Cafe is a fully licensed establishment with an impressive list of local beverages to enjoy responsibly.
House of Boateng is located at ground level, with a step-free entrance into this popular eatery. Orders and pre-payment are made at the front immediately upon making your way into the restaurant. Customers can be seated before or after placing their order. The main seating area is furnished with tables and chairs, which are easily slide-able to accommodate wheelchairs and scooters, but the space isn’t overly roomy.
To get to the secondary seating, an enclosed and heated patio at street level, there is a short narrow hallway past the main service counter and display case, with a sharp 90° turn to be navigated. This area could work for some folks with small wheelchairs chairs/scooters, but would be challenging for larger powerchair and scooter users.
There is one large and accessible unisex restroom, as well as one restroom per gender. Food is brought to you by the server when it’s ready. Service and quality of food is very good. There is a free parking lot adjacent to the restaurant with at least one accessible parking space.
